Boaz Alabama Attractions
Boaz, Alabama lies in Marshall County in the northeast part of the state between Gadsden and Guntersville. It's 77 miles from Birmingham and 57 miles from Huntsville. This small town, nestled in the Appalachian foothills, began as a market center for the surrounding agricultural communities on Sand Mountain plateau.
It continues that tradition today as a shopper's paradise. The first outlet store was established in Boaz in 1982. There are now five large back-to-back outlet malls featuring over 100 stores. Most are within walking distance of one another. They include the original Vanity Fair, Boaz Outlet Center, Fashion Outlets, Tanger Factory Outlet Center and Factory Stores of America. Boaz now has a worldwide reputation as a shopping Mecca. The Key West Inn in Boaz is conveniently located across the street from many of the stores, making it the perfect headquarters for your shopping trip.
In addition to the outlets, there are unique local shops and many antique stores. Proud of its small town friendliness, agricultural heritage and southern hospitality, Boaz welcomes you
